RAYMOND BOEKELDER
Raymond Boekelder (Groenbloo, 1962)studeerde van 1985 tot 1990 aan de kunstacademie AKI , Enschede en van 1990 tot 1992 aan de Rijksacademie te Amsterdam.
The exhibitions of his work at Art Singel 100 from 2018 and 2022 reveal a development from tangible bodies to a new human being, whose movement he summarizes in diagrams of neuralgic wires. In his recent work, he presents a similar modern human being, evoking poetic and dramatic feelings through the themes and a greater freedom in his use of paint. A longing for the other is also expressed in every pose or gesture.
